Mark 16:15-18
If you read this in the mornings, you might have noticed that I was on the wrong verses yesterday. I accidentally posted this post (day 99) a day early. So, you may have already read this one. If you missed yesterday's principle, I posted it last night. Sorry for the confusion. (but considering I made it 98 days before any major mess ups...I think that's pretty good!)
We have discussed the importance of sharing the gospel throughout this whole study. Today, I just want to share with you the song that pops in my head when I think about witnessing.
There is a candle in every soul
Some brightly burning, some dark and cold
There is a Spirit who brings fire
Ignites a candle and makes His home
Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the hopeless, confused and torn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Frustrated brother, see how he's tried to
Light his own candle some other way
See now your sister, she's been robbed and lied to
Still holds a candle without a flame
Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the hopeless, confused and torn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Take your candle, and go light your world
Principle: Christians, called and commissioned by Jesus, are equipped with His authority and power to preach the gospel.
Application:
1. What is my part in God's plan for the world's evangelization?
2. Has my family had the opportunity to believe in Jesus because I have shared the gospel with them?
3. What signs of God's power are seen in my ministry (life)?
Thanks for sharing the song Sarah -- it is a good one.
